A local company started by people who got tired of watching homeowners get ripped off — so we decided to do it differently.
We started 1 Garage Doors after watching too many homeowners get taken for a ride. You call a company, they show up, and suddenly the quote is three times what it should be — or you're being told you need a brand new door when it's just a worn spring. We saw it happen over and over.
So we started doing it ourselves, the right way. Local guys, Ocean County and Monmouth County — Lakewood, Toms River, Brick, Howell, Freehold, Jackson, and everywhere in between. No call centers, no franchise overhead, no dispatchers two states away.
Our techs carry 500+ parts per van. Most repairs get done the same visit. That's on purpose — we hate "we'll have to order it and come back" as much as you do, so we planned around it.
We do it all: springs, cables, openers, panels, full door installs, smart opener setup. LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Clopay, Amarr, Haas — all of them. And yes, if you call at 11pm because the door won't close and you're leaving for work at 6am, someone answers.
Show up on time, tell you the price before we start, fix it right. That's the whole thing.
